My top 10 Favorite 2005 NABX Things (thoughts and views of a tandem rider).

10. The flight of the newborn Monarchs (not to be confused with the ones splattered all over people's vehicles).

9. Riding my bike down the pipeline in zero-wind conditions (In other words, having something else to do when the wind didn't blow).

8. Eating fried ostrich eggs for the first time...not bad...tastes just like chicken eggs.

7. NOT having to use the porta-potties.

6. Watching the moon rise over the mountains.

5. Helping Freeman with his zipper.

4. Having all of my Dead Bird Peeps close by...love those guys from Texas, Jersey and Philly! Thanks for the showers!

3. Watching Chris race against Peter Lynn =).

2. The barbeque!! What a great crowd! Thanks to all of the organizers for a fun show. Big hugz to Dean too!

My number one favorite thing about this year's NABX....

1. Camping all 7 days in an RV on Ivanpah with my husband Chris. He brought me to Ivanpah for the first time on our honeymoon and asked me if I thought it would be fun to camp there someday. That was almost 7 years ago.

May the wind always blow for you guys and may there always be a tandem buggy hitched behind you for girls like me!
