Dry LakeSilurian is located about ten miles north of the town of Baker, California. Dumont Dunes is located about five miles north of the Silurian Dry Lake. Directions to Silurian
- Go to Mapquest.com.
- Do a search with Mapquest for Baker, CA.
- In Baker, go north on route 127 about six miles until you see the lake on your left.
- Turn right (east) onto any of the rough roads that lead down to the lakes edge.
- Head out across the lake bed looking for the other buggiers and their vehicles.
- Travel from Adelanto, CA to Baker, CA (Approx 2 hours - 130 miles - 209 km).
